How can I pay for my massage?
You can pay for your treatment in cash, BACS (online banking) or PayPal. We also take most major credit and debit cards including American Express, Visa and Mastercard.

Do you make use of anything else during your massages?
Sometimes we use a Genie head massager which gives a gentle tingling sensation. It looks a bit like an egg whisk!

tappymed massager

We can also use a handheld Tappymed II massager (pictured) which gives you a thorough massage for sore, stiff and tense muscles from the neck and shoulders to the soles of your feet. The different heads provide different types of massage. All of them can be used with or without heat.

In the autumn and winter we also use Orli Massage Candles. The candles are used to light the room. As the candle melts, we then use that melted wax in the massage.

Orli Candles

The candles are made from a high quality soybean oil. It is combined with shea butter, cocoa butter and vitamin E. These ingredients al have properties which are beneficial for your skin.

Do you do outcalls?

What oils do you use for massage?
We use grape seed oil for our massages as there's no chance that you will be allergic to it. The oil is warmed before it touches your body, creating that extra luxurious and sensual feel.

Do you play music during the massage treatment?
You have a choice. We can massage you with background music or relaxing sounds. Each therapy room has an iPod with a wide choice of soothing music or sounds from nature (for example waves, surf, birds, a forest, tropical rain or a thunderstorm). Alternatively, we can massage in silence if you prefer.

What should I wear for a massage?
If you are coming for a Swedish massage, the oils may damage your clothes when you get dressed again, so please wear something old. If you are coming for a Sports massage or Shiatsu massage please wear loose-fitting baggy clothes. Please don’t wear jeans.

Are the towels washed regularly?
Yes. All the towels and couch covers are washed after every appointment. We use the finest, very heavy, large Egyptian cotton towels to make sure you are warm enough when lying on the massage table at the beginning of the treatment.

Daniel Beauty

Can I have a shower afterwards?
Yes. Although you will probably find that, a few minutes after the treatment, the oil will have been absorbed by your body. Please tell us if you would like to use the shower when you book, as we will need to allow extra time for your appointment.

What if I have to cancel my massage appointment?
If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, or don't show up, you will still be charged the full treatment fee. All our therapists except for Daniel have to travel to work here. It isn't fair on them if we can't pay them for their time. If you cancel with more than 24 hours' notice, we are happy to re-schedule your appointment for free.

How do I get in contact with you?
You can email through the Contact Page, you can call on 01483 779997 or text on 07902 716499. You should get a fairly swift response between 8am and 10pm.
