We are sorry but we are no longer able to do facials

A facial costs £60 and takes about an hour. Please Contact Us to book an appointment.

What is a Facial?
A facial is a beauty treatment for your face. A facial will cleanse, tone, exfoliate and moisturise your skin. A facial will tighten your skin, leaving you looking and feeling younger and re-vitalised.

How do you do a Facial?
Here is the process for my facial treatments:

If it is the first time that you have come to us for a facial, we will ask you to fill out a very short form. After checking that there is no reason why you can’t have a facial, we will advise you about what you should and shouldn’t do for 24 hours after your facial.

A facial begins with a cleansing with cotton pads or sponges and a product chosen for your skin type (normal, dry, oily, sensitive or a combination of these.) If you are wearing make-up or lipstick we will remove this, too.

Daniel will use a toner on damp cotton wool pads which will prepare your skin to be moisturised; it will also leave your skin refreshed.

Daniel will cover your eyes and look at your skin through a brightly-lit magnifying lamp that will reveal various skin imperfections, texture and its general condition.

Daniel will use a mechanical exfoliant on your face; this has a gritty texture and will remove the oldest dead skin cells that cling to your skin's surface.

Exfoliation will leave your skin feeling smoother and fresher. It will also make it easier for facial products to penetrate your skin.

We will use a steamer to direct steam vapour at your face. The steamer uses distilled water which is brought to the boil until a fine spray of vapour gently falls over your face.

Steaming will also soften your face so that it makes the removal of any spots easier.

We will extract any blackheads or whiteheads on your face. Different people have different pain thresholds: people with thicker, oiler skin are usually less sensitive, while people with thinner skin are usually more sensitive. Just let your therapist know if it hurts.

Facial Massage

We will gently massage your face using movements that you may be familiar with if you have had a Swedish massage. This will stimulate your skin and facial muscles into working more efficiently; it is also very relaxing. Daniel will also do some pressure point massage on your neck and shoulders which are used in Shiatsu massage and Indian head massage.

Hot Towels

Daniel will place hot towels over your face which is both refreshing and relaxing.

Facial Mask

We will give you a facial mask which will be conditioned to your skin type whether it is dry, oily, sensitive or a combination of these. A facial mask will cleanse, peel, soothe and nourish your skin as well as remove the dead cells on the surface of your skin.

Most people have usually fallen asleep by now! We will then remove the facial mask will hot steamed mitts.

More Toning

Daniel will use a Toner on your face using damp cotton wool pads. This will make sure your facial mask has been completely removed. It will also leave your skin feeling refreshed and prepare your skin to be moisturised.

Finally, we will apply moisturiser to your skin to make sure your skin is fully re-hydrated and you leave feeling fresh and re-vitalised.

Male Waxing

Warm wax is applied to your body which then hardens before it's removed it with a brisk tug, thereby removing the hair.

The most popular treatments are the Hollywood (where no hair is left), the Brazilian and the Back, Sac and Crack.

Intimate Waxing

Hair removal by threading involves using a thin, twisted cotton thread which is rolled over facial areas.

Threading is used to tidy up hairlines, eyebrows and moustaches, plucking the hair out at the follicle.
